Cosmetic Services Popular with Lake Allatoona Patients
Professional Whitening
In-office whitening produces visible results in a single appointment. We pair it with a short at-home maintenance phase to lock in the shade. For lake-area patients, the practical schedule is to do the in-office session in late winter or early spring, ahead of Memorial Day, and use at-home trays to maintain the shade through lake season.
Cosmetic Bonding for Chipped Teeth
Bonding rebuilds chipped edges with tooth-colored composite. Most bonding work is done in a single appointment of 30 to 60 minutes, and the result looks finished the same day. Useful for the dock-step accident, the boat-rail fall, the tooth that hit the cooler lid wrong.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of your teeth, used to correct shade, shape, and minor alignment issues. Most veneer cases run two to three appointments over two to three weeks. We design the shade and shape with you, not for you.
Invisalign Clear Aligners
Invisalign moves teeth gradually using clear plastic aligners that are removable for eating, brushing, and special events. Most aesthetic cases finish in six to nine months. We will give you a realistic timeline at the consultation.
Full Smile Makeovers
A coordinated treatment plan that combines whitening, veneers or bonding, and sometimes Invisalign or crown work. We map the full sequence at the consultation, including timing, cost, and how the case interacts with lake season if that matters to you.
Insurance, Financing, and the Friends and Family Membership Plan
We are in-network with most major dental PPO plans. If you have insurance, we will verify your benefits before your appointment. If you do not have insurance, our Friends and Family Membership Plan is a flat annual fee that covers preventive care and provides a discount on cosmetic and restorative work. For patients who would rather spread cosmetic case costs over monthly payments, CareCredit financing is available with terms we can review at the consultation.
Most cosmetic dentistry is not covered by dental insurance regardless of the practice. We will be straight with you about that at the consultation, before any treatment plan is written.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will time on the boat or in the sun damage cosmetic dental work?
UV exposure does not damage porcelain veneers or composite bonding. Lake water and sunscreen are also fine for finished work. The main maintenance considerations are coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco, none of which are on the lake. Beyond that, the same brushing and flossing routine that protects your natural teeth protects your cosmetic work.
I had a tooth chipped on a hard cooler lid at the lake. How fast can you fix it?
Same-day appointments are generally available. Cosmetic bonding for a chipped front tooth typically takes 30 to 60 minutes and looks finished the same day. Call us first thing in the morning. If you call before 9 AM, we can usually fit you in before lunch.
What are your office hours? Do you book weekends?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We do not currently book Saturdays. Many lake-area patients book a late-afternoon slot (4:00 PM or 4:30 PM) as the last meeting of their workday so weekends stay free for the lake.
I am hosting a dock party for the summer. How early should I start veneer or whitening work?
Two to three weeks for a whitening series. Three to six weeks for veneer cases (consultation, preparation, lab time, placement). Six to nine months or longer for Invisalign depending on the case. Plan back from the event date and book the consultation first. The earlier you start, the more options you have.
Can my kids have whitening before our family lake photos this summer?
We generally recommend waiting until permanent teeth are fully erupted, around age 16, before whitening. For younger kids who want their teeth to look their best in family photos, the right answer is usually a professional cleaning rather than whitening. Cleanings remove surface stain that home brushing can miss, and the result for kids and teens is often whiter-looking teeth without any whitening agents.
