In-network Delta Dental care for KSU students, faculty, and families
How being in-network with Delta Dental actually saves you money
- You pay only the contracted in-network rate, which is usually well below an out-of-network office's regular fee.
- Your annual Delta Dental maximum stretches further at an in-network office because each visit costs less, leaving more benefit available for the year.
- We file your claim directly. You pay only your portion at the visit.
Services KSU patients use most
- Six-month cleanings and exams. Most Delta plans cover these at or near 100 percent.
- Tooth-colored fillings. Standard in our office, typically no extra charge over silver fillings on most Delta plans.
- Wisdom tooth extractions. Typical age range for wisdom tooth removal lines up with college years. We refer to oral surgery if extraction complexity calls for it; we handle straightforward cases in-house.
- Emergency visits. Cracked tooth from biting on something, sudden severe sensitivity, a chip from a fall. Call us in the morning and we hold same-day spots.
- Whitening and Invisalign. Most Delta plans do not cover whitening. Some include an orthodontic rider that applies to Invisalign. We check this when we verify your benefits.

Frequently asked questions from KSU patients
I'm an out-of-state student. Will my parent's Delta Dental plan work here?
Almost certainly yes. Delta Dental contracts honor the national network across most states. Call(770) 928-4434 with your member ID and we will verify with Delta Dental directly before your visit.
How long does a typical Delta Dental cleaning visit take?
About 50 to 60 minutes for a standard six-month cleaning, exam, and X-rays. New patient first visits run a bit longer because we add a full exam discussion.
Can I book around my class schedule?
Yes. We hold early morning and evening slots specifically because patients in school or working full days need them. Saturday is closed, but most weekdays we have 8 AM and late-afternoon openings.
Do you do wisdom teeth?
We evaluate wisdom teeth at every comprehensive exam and handle straightforward extractions in our office. For impacted or complex cases, we refer to a trusted oral surgeon and coordinate the referral.
I haven't been to a dentist in three years. Is that a problem?
Not for us, and we hear it often. We start with a full exam and a non-judgmental conversation about where you are. You leave with a clear plan that fits your schedule and your Delta Dental benefits.
Call(770) 928-4434 to verify your Delta Dental benefits and book a visit that fits around classes, clinicals, or work. New KSU patients welcome.
