Services KSU Students and Faculty Book Most Often
Cleanings, Exams, and Preventive Care
Six-month cleanings, exams, digital X-rays, and oral cancer screenings. KSU students and faculty most often schedule cleanings between semesters or over winter break, when class loads are lighter. Most cleaning slots can be booked within a week of when you call. The new patient specials ($125 for exam and X-rays, $199 for exam, X-rays, and a cleaning) are the most common entry point for students without dental insurance.
Whitening, Veneers, and Cosmetic Bonding
Professional take-home whitening, in-office whitening, porcelain veneers, and cosmetic bonding. The most common bookings on the KSU side are whitening before graduation photos, whitening before job interviews and headshots, and bonding for chipped front teeth from accidents that happened years ago and were never properly addressed. Whitening results show up in a couple of weeks; veneer cases run six to eight weeks from first impression to final placement.
Invisalign Clear Aligners
Invisalign for adult orthodontics is the second-most-common cosmetic case from KSU patients. Many adult students realized in their twenties that braces would have been worth doing as teenagers, and Invisalign lets them get there without the metal-mouth look. Treatment runs 12 to 18 months for most cases. Aligner changes are usually self-managed at the apartment with check-ins at the practice every six to eight weeks.
Same-Day Emergency Care Between Classes
Broken tooth, severe pain, a tooth knocked loose during a pickup basketball game at the Convocation Center: call (770) 657-7120 the moment the problem starts. If you call before 1 PM, we make every effort to fit you in that afternoon between classes. The office closes at 5 PM Monday through Friday; if the problem occurs in the evening, the safest move is to head to the nearest emergency room or contact an after-hours dental line.
How to Get Here from KSU
We are at 6199 GA-92, Suite 132, Acworth, GA 30102. Two routes from the KSU Kennesaw campus.
From the campus core (Convocation Center, Burruss Building): take Chastain Road west, then turn right onto GA-92 (Lake Acworth Drive). The office is roughly 8-9 miles up GA-92 on the right. Plan for 12 to 15 minutes, longer during morning rush.
From the apartment communities along Chastain Road and Frey Lake Road: same Chastain Road and GA-92 route, just a slightly shorter drive at 10 to 12 minutes. From the Marietta campus, take I-75 north to exit 277 (Glade Road), then west to GA-92.
Parking is in the lot directly in front of the suite. No paid parking; no permit needed.

Frequently Asked Questions for KSU Patients
How far is your office from the KSU campus?
We are at 6199 GA-92 in Acworth, roughly8-9 miles north of the Kennesaw campus. Most students and faculty reach us in 12 to 15 minutes via Chastain Road and GA-92. From the Marietta campus, plan for 25 to 30 minutes via I-75.
Do you take the insurance that KSU offers its students or employees?
We are in-network with Delta Dental, which covers many KSU employees and parent plans. For the KSU-administered student dental plan and any employee plan changes, call (770) 657-7120 with your plan name and member ID; the front desk will verify benefits before your visit.
I am a student with no dental insurance. What is the cheapest way to get a checkup?
The $125 New Patient Exam covers the exam and X-rays. The $199 New Patient Exam plus Healthy Mouth Cleaning adds a cleaning, in the absence of periodontal disease. Both are first-visit specials for new patients without insurance. If you plan to come back regularly, the Friends and Family Membership Plan covers two cleanings, exams, X-rays, and a treatment discount for one annual fee.
Can I get whitening done before graduation photos?
Yes. In-office whitening shows results in one visit; take-home whitening shows results over one to two weeks of nightly use. Either option is timed for the photo date you give us. Book at least three weeks ahead of the photo date for the cleanest result, and avoid coffee and red wine in the 48 hours after each treatment.
I broke a tooth in the dorm. Can you see me today?
Call (770) 657-7120 right now, not after 5 PM. If we have a same-day opening, we will fit you in that afternoon. If we cannot, we will give you over-the-phone guidance to manage the tooth until the next morning. Do not wait until tomorrow if there is a piece of tooth missing or if you are in serious pain.
Book Your Visit
Call (770) 657-7120 or book online. Tell us you are a KSU student or faculty member and the front desk will help you match the appointment to your class schedule.
