Dental Services Often Requested Near Woodwind Station
Invisalign® Clear Aligners
Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually shift teeth into a straighter position without traditional brackets and wires. Adult treatment timelines vary, often falling in the 6-to-18-month range depending on the case. The process starts with a consultation and digital scans of your teeth, after which Dr. Parnes can outline the expected timeline and cost for your specific case.
Dental Implants and Restorative Work
Single-tooth implants, multiple-tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, and All-on-4 implant dentures are all offered. Crowns, traditional bridges, and root canal therapy round out the restorative options. The right choice depends on the location of the missing tooth, the condition of neighboring teeth, jawbone density, and how soon you need to be back to normal eating.
Periodontal Deep Cleanings
If gums bleed during routine cleanings, if there is bad breath that does not respond to brushing, or if pockets between teeth and gums measure deeper than normal at an exam, periodontal deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) may be recommended. This goes below the gumline to remove tartar from tooth roots and allow gums to re-attach.
Sedation Dentistry for Anxious Patients
The practice offers nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, for patients who feel anxious about dental procedures. Nitrous oxide takes effect within minutes, wears off within minutes after the procedure ends, and lets you drive yourself home. For patients with severe anxiety or longer procedures, the appropriate level of sedation will be discussed at the consultation.
TMJ Pain and Nighttime Teeth Grinding
Custom-fitted night guards (also called occlusal splints or bruxism splints) protect teeth from grinding damage and can help relieve TMJ pain caused by clenching. The process starts with an exam to confirm grinding is the cause, then impressions are taken to make a guard that fits precisely.
Cosmetic Whitening, Veneers, and Bonding
Professional whitening, porcelain veneers, and cosmetic bonding round out the cosmetic options. Smile makeovers combine several of these into a single plan when the goal is a broader change in the smile rather than addressing one specific tooth.

Do you offer Invisalign® clear aligners for adults?
Yes. Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually shift teeth into a straighter position without traditional brackets and wires. The process starts with a consultation and digital scans of your teeth. Adult treatment timelines vary, often falling in the 6-to-18-month range depending on the case. Dr. Parnes will outline the expected timeline and cost for your specific case at the consultation.
What is the difference between a regular cleaning and a periodontal deep cleaning?
A regular cleaning removes plaque and tartar from above the gumline and polishes the surface of the teeth. A periodontal deep cleaning, also called scaling and root planing, goes below the gumline to remove tartar from the tooth roots and smooth them so gums can re-attach. Deep cleanings are recommended when there are signs of gum disease such as deep pockets, bleeding, or bone loss visible on X-rays.
Do you offer sedation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety?
Yes. The practice offers nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, for patients who feel anxious about dental procedures. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask, takes effect within minutes, and wears off within minutes after the procedure ends, so you can drive yourself home. For patients with severe anxiety or longer procedures, the appropriate level of sedation will be discussed at the consultation.
Can you treat TMJ pain or nighttime teeth grinding?
Yes. The practice provides custom-fitted night guards (also called occlusal splints or bruxism splints) that protect teeth from grinding damage and can help relieve TMJ pain caused by clenching. The process starts with an exam to confirm grinding is the cause, then impressions of your teeth are taken to make a guard that fits precisely. Most patients receive their guard at a second visit about a week after impressions are taken.
